This has got to be another one of my favorite anime of all time. (Minor Spoilers) Kokoro Connect is about five students who are part of the Student Cultural Research Club and how they get themselves into supernatural phenomenons by a sentient being called "Heart Seed." These phenomenons are body switching, inner desire unleashing, age reverting and inner emotion transmission. What was very important about this anime is Character Development. Whenever they get themselves in the middle of a phenomenon, something about them that the others didn't know is revealed. Something traumatic. Something deep and dark that the others never knew about. Despite these phenomena forcingthe five to drift apart, they don't give up on their friendship and struggle to keep them together.

At first, this anime didn't appeal to me quite that much. But later on, I slowly start enjoying it. The story itself is quite unrealistic, despite the fact that the setting is school/slice-of-life. But that doesn't mean the story isn't good. It's quite original, as far as I'm concerned.

There is a good mix of comedy, drama and romance. You'll start getting pissed off at some of the characters as the story progresses. The comedy is subtle. And the drama brings some heavy feels, which makes the happy endings after each phenomenon and the romance all the more satisfying.

The art is very nice and well-done and animation flows rather smoothly. The character designs are quite similar to the anime K-On! despite having different producers. You could put the characters of Kokoro Connect and K-On! together and you'd probably think they were made by the same producers.

The sound is alright. Nothing specific to point out. Opening and the Ending themes are a little catchy, but that's it.

Overall, this is a pretty enjoyable anime and I highly recommend watching it. I'm sure you won't regret it.
