I'm not going to take much of your time. I'll just make it small & simple. Story: 9/10 The story is about a group of friends who were really close in their childhood. But a sudden loss of a dear friend, Menma, made them distant. After growing up, that groups leader , Yadomi nicknamed Jintan, started seeing Menma's (who he lost) ghost. This story follows to fulfill the dead friends wish which would help her to go to heaven. I really liked the main theme of the story. It’s certainly one to be liked by everyone. This story also emphasizes on how a premature death canaffect other lives. The story is Obviously an emotional and enjoyable one much more to my liking.

Character Development: 10/10
Anohana's characters developments are spot on. The anime really described the nature of the characters in only 11 episodes & quite nicely. This is an anime where you get to see like all kinds of people. The characters are different from each other & this is a strong part of this anime. I think some of the script writing seemed obvious but overall it was good.

Animation: 8/10
The animation is quite nice and neat. It didn’t have anything exceptional. I kinda like this typical animation. The faces are quite the innocent types. Characters had different expressions and it was better than the usual. But Menma's appearance didn’t change that much though she was old. That seemed kinda odd.

Soundtrack: 9/10
The soundtracks were awesome for this anime. I really liked the ending especially when they made the song appear in different scenes. It really was appropriate for this kind of anime. You get the emotional kind of feeling which is really good. I’m actually a metal fan. But sometimes hearing soft-core songs is really enjoyable & I’ll give a credit to the Sony Music for choosing these soundtracks.

Enjoyment: 10/10
This is a strong side of this anime because from my point of view, this anime is really enjoyable. You don’t really find Slice of life combined with supernatural. This combination is worth mentioning and I felt that it made the anime much more interesting. Sometimes you get emotional & sometimes you get a good feeling-that is much praiseworthy. Every once in a while, we must watch this kind of anime to refresh our minds.

Overall: 9/10
This anime deserves a 9/10 rating. We should learn a thing or two (of course the good ones) from this anime. This anime has a great part, which is you will find realism in it as well as supernaturalism. I think It’s really peculiar to get these two combined. Frankly speaking this anime made my day.

I would recommend everyone who hasn’t seen this anime to watch it. It was quite good for me because I’m a fan of Slice Of Life Genre. If you aren’t a fan of this genre, don’t worry, this anime won’t disappoint you.
