Review of Redline

Short and sweet, non-spoilery review for those who want some insight before watching this movie. I was recommended to watch this by some of my friends who had told me that this movie was a masterpiece, so I went in expecting that. Animation: I'm going to be fair but blunt here. This movie had over the top animation and good soundtracks. I felt that they put so much effort into making their animation excellent and less effort into other areas. When too much of something is done, it feels disgusting and out of place. It was too colourful and not pleasing to the eye. Yes I saidNOT. In fact, if the animation was a bit worse, I would have liked it more.

Soundtracks:
Not bad/ fairly good

Story:

It's basically non-existent. It's a movie about racing but there's nothing interesting going on. I was about to fall asleep honestly. They tried to add in a bit of romance but it's really lame.

Characters: Really badly made characters. Even the mc is badly made, nothing to look forward to.

Conclusion: 5/10

If you like mindless driving and action without any emphasis on story with stellar animations and soundtracks, this is the movie for you. If not, move along. Not every well-rated movie is good. This is one of those. Thanks for reading.
