Review of Waiting in the Summer
This show is an odd one. While having some of the worst characters I've ever had the total pleasure of watching, I ended up rooting for ALL of them by the time the show rolled its credits. The characters don't have nearly any development, but thats not really the point of the show, its about love and moving on. The show smashes this aspect of it out of the park with heart wrenching dialogue and (in this case in a good way) predictable events. I especially like how the love "triangle" in this show isn't a shape at all but in fact a line, such thatif two couples were to end up working out one would be left in the dust. The cast of this show understands this and you are left to agonize with them which is part of the reason I think you end up feeling for them in the end despite there being almost no charter growth to speak of.
Overall, if you like crying and then crying some more, give this one a shot
