Review of Monster

Absolute masterpiece through and through, some people will say that it's too long or dragged out or gets boring at times. And while I understand why some feel that way, I disagree. Even the "boring" side quest type of episodes I enjoyed, because they give Tenma more valuable character development and develop his relationships with other characters. Monster is an intriguing mystery thriller with a great protagonist, great villain, and a very well written plot. There are a bunch of great side characters too, some of which aren't even introduced until much later in the show, and I love all the side plots and howthey connect back to Tenma and Johan, and it pays off really well.
There's also a lot of moral ambiguity from the onset of the show and it really made me think about a lot of things. If you like animes with mysteries, well written and intricate plots, and twists and turns, you will love Monster.

10/10 and I fully recommend it to anyone considering watching it.
