Review of Fairy Tail

For some reason I really liked this anime. But I can't say it can be called as excellent one. Maybe it is just my liking for some characters and getting excited in some part. First 60-70 episodes were very slow without much of interesting going on, but later it got interesting. Story: 7 The problem with story is that I can't find what is the point of it at all. But every arc got something interesting so it is not a problem. I didn't enjoy that much in battles, except some. I really like to watch Gajeel fighting, but we didn't see much of that.We mostly end up watching Lucy in fights or at least those fights somehow lasted t he most in my mind and I found them tiring.
I don't like how most of villains are done, they somehow didn't had much of character and were not challenging.

I have to say I'm guilty of liking a lot of characters of Fairy Tail. I guess that some of them somehow kept me going on with anime. But the problem is that there is very little of development and some characters are really not likable at least for me like Lucy. She is main character but I found her very very boring. And she is kind of main character which is shame. We also have bunch of useless characters that you don't even try to remember since they are boring and have only one trait. Like Fred being in love with Laxus or Juvia with Grey. And Cana didn't bought me even with her backstory she is classical drunk and not interesting at all(stayed same during whole anime).
While there are Natsu and Grey who are quite similar but Natsu has more attitude. I think that Natsu is the only protagonist of shounen anime that I really like. He is quite funny and unusual. And the guy eats fire. But he is not over positive like Naruto or overall perfect like Ichigo...he is more likeable since he is not perfect and makes a lot of stupid stuff.
The other aspect I must mention is how little progress Juvia had, her fight with Grey was awesome. But than total destruction. One of most annoying characters and they were pushing it through whole anime. It was not fun at all, it was even boring and disgusting.
On the other side I liked switches from vilain to a friend. That part was done amazing with Sting and Rogue, Gajeel, Laxus and even Jellal.
Now lets take a moment of appreciation of those adorable Exceeds. Frosch stole my heart I would really like a plush like that. Fro is by far the cutest and most loveable character in Fairytail.

This is the part that bought me. I really enjoyed unique music in this anime. It is quite magical and fairy like. Definitely one of the the favorite aspects of this anime. It can't get boring since it has awesome voice actors and great music and sounds it is very pleasant.
But unfortunately soundtracks(opening and ending) are not done is same manner and are not likable at all. :(

Art of anime is not the best I've seen, but it is great. I really like the way pretty characters are drawn, but the problem is with ugly characters they are way to ugly and I'm kind of not able to imagine how they would look like with those round mouth and similar.
But something that many anime have done bad Fairy tail did great and that is awesome animation.

There were moments when I stoped watching but after some time I missed the world so came back. It is not the most enjoyable anime, but I give it 8 since it was pulling me back all the time.
First part was a bit boring but the second part payed of.
