Diamond Daydreams · review
Beautiful stories with a variety of frames, perfect for a rainy afternoon viewing. I feel as if i had the perfect setting for thie show, which may be lending itself towards the high score it received. I watched Kita e after dinner on Valentine's day, with a backdrop of rain on a cool night. It's one of those shows that is great for watching lazily with a partner, or even as something to have on in the background while you go through your day. I had high expectations for this show after falling for the Kita A visual novel's aesthetic choices, and I can say that whilstthe visuals naturally don't match with the strange grainy photography of the original Kita E VN, I loved the charm of this show.
Personally, it peaked early, with the first two episode series being my favourite, but each situation brought its own charm and it remained a refreshing viewing experience throughout. For anyone that leans more towards quiet Josei-esque stories of life, it's a highly recommended viewing experience.
