Review of Hunter x Hunter

Okay so im gonna make this pretty short and sweet. I'm a big shounen fan to start with, and with that said this is pretty much my favorite show. The show is about a kid with above normal human abilities realizing that his father that he never met is what they call a Hunter. Hunters vary a lot but you can pretty much call them licensed specialists. Like a bounty hunter, or a chef hunter, or a treasure hunter, it all just varies but the hunter license makes it so people recognize you are highly skilled and also grants you special privileges. Gon the main character decideshe needs to become a hunter so that he can find his dad. Along the way he makes friends with some great characters. This is the core of the show, the relationship between them. For everyone has a reason for wanting to become a hunter, and this group of friends decides they will help each other reach that goal no matter what.

Now if you have seen Dragon Ball, I can tell you that's how the show starts off. The people at first are just strong and fast and have miner special attacks, but then later on they all gain special abilities, which is what being a hunter really means.

This show is about friendship, and the inner desire to achieve your goals no matter what. All the characters fight with inner demons or other people saying they cant reach their goal, but with their friends help they are able to push through the negatives.

I can also tell you there are like NO FILLERS!!!! This show is just straight up story arcs and that's great. You don't get feeling your watching something just to stall till they have new material.
