Review of Fire Force

fire force.... goddamn fire force. how did this get a season 2? From the creator of soul eater (an amazing show) comes this dumpster fire which is just bad, not domestic girlfriend Dumpster fire but its just a dumpster fire that should have been removed long ago. story: 4 it has a story and progresses but honestly its so forgettable i hardly care, if you wanna watch something about people having flame powers watch promare. Art: 8 the only redeeming quality of this show its visually pleasing and the fights are well choreographed so thats about it in terms of praise for this show. sound: 5 i dontlisten to ost's that much and i judge by openings and outros and the first intro was good the second was just bad

I. Hate. These. Characters. they are more 2d than most generic vanilla waifu's
yes im talking to you sinon.
Lets just talk about the cat in the room tamaki. i hate her. i hate her so much. she can be summed up with:
viewers: nooo you can just put lazy fan service in an intense fight scene
tamaki: haha boobs go fwoop
most characters in this show have 1 character trait slapped onto them and at most an added quirk.
The show then plays these as jokes so. goddamn. much. like at first maybe it was funny? but when you do it 10 times each episode (exaggeration) it gets boring.

originally i dropped this but finished it off when s2 started and ho boy is it a mess ill get to that in a minute

overall: 3
i hate this show its unfunny and constantly breaks immersion as well as having bland characters and a forgettable story

Honestly the finale just infuriated me and was what originally made me drop this mess. It goes shinra studies how to get faster for like a couple episodes because why does an increase in power need to feel earned, and then goes so fast he breaks the speed of light and REWINDS GODDAMN TIME. Im all for over the top. but for the love of god dont throw in science stuff if its not at all believable. i dont care how much he focuses his chi or whatever there aint no way this glorified jet engine is breaking the speed of light. oh and why does he have to get faster you ask? well you see he wants to save his brother who can heat up the universe and stop time or some dumb crap like that.

it doesnt even have good waifus they just exist as bad attempts to pander to fetish's
and the males are just as forgetable

please tell me why this has a season 2 but not NGNL. This is just bad
