Review of ReLIFE

Are you in your twenties or maybe even older? Have you ever wondered about going back to highschool? Well, that's kinda the premise, but the execution is really well done in contrast to the slightly generic premise. The show ´sports a unique soundtrack with an OST that sounds very dissonant/impromptu or improvisational at times which gives it a very unique vibe. It also captures some aspects of adult and teenage life really well, making it quite relatable. The humor in the show is fairly good and got quite some laughs out of me, but the serious dramatic moments are done well as well. Tone shifts don't feel weird and areaccentuated by the soundtrack appropriately.

The characters feel like they are fun to be with and endear themselves fairly quickly making you invested in what happends to them.

In summary, if you want a well written slice of life/comedy that also touches on some serious and important topics at times, then the show is for you.

9/10, can recommend it whole heartedly
