Review of Mob Psycho 100 II
Mob Psycho does an amazing job when it comes to character driven stories. I just love how almost every character in the show is some kind of foil to Mob (How characters use/interpret psychic abilities and how it affects their lives or way of thinking compared to Mob) that ties into the main theme of the series. I feel like that core message flies over some people's head and tbh if it weren't for video analysis of MP100 on YouTube, it would've flewn over mine too. Admittedly, I don't think MP100 is very good with comedy with it's sometimes off beat slap-stick humour. It canbe too cheesey for me with it's overly optimistic solutions, but for the most part I found it very endearing. I'm also a little surprised this season is rated much higher than season 1, as I personally enjoyed season 1 more. Nonetheless, Mob Psycho is an amazing fresh take of work with thoughtful writing, especially in it's characters that makes MP100 one of my favourite shows of all time. I'm so grateful studio Bones goes the extra mile to make the anime such great quality, and I wouldn't want any other studio touching MP100 (I'm looking at you JC staff).
