Review of My First Girlfriend is a Gal

Simply said, main character is not even mediocre, it's not repulsive but just too bland and has no actual character in it, no story just nothing anime, nonsense drama and no development at all. only good thing was his 3 friends hence the rating. Let's say even if it's not a slice of life type realistic, you still need good characters, This on the other hand takes 4-5 episodes to just establish all the girls and badly, which should have been 1, then every girl here is 2 dimensional, no character, big honker loli child hood nee chan friend, gay powerfull mommy, Manipulative dominant girl hiding hertrue intentions and main girl, who is dumb as hell and show even less character than the side characters.

I don't how you make such bad of a story, but going on there is no story in it, this either needed to be long or should have purpose to keep you on your toes, only thing I saw fan service it's a rent a girlfriend situation probably but can't say as I have not read or wasted my time on the manga, the villain is nothing, there is nothing pushing it forward or look upto, you need a reason for the show, they are already gf and look at Nisekoi , the main girl was far better, no just give 3/4 girls big honker and leave it be, the story had a goal to find his old lover, even tho they had so many girls by the end, all were interesting, and charming, and they had the harem sauce in his hands, all of them fighting for him and complex relationships.

Only thing I like about these bad harem copys is the side guys best friends, they are energetic, may not be relatable and overused in many animes but, they are charming, and they showed they cared about the mc, more than anyone else, it was heartwarming to help him get his first kiss which he denied and then cheared him up and helped him win a fight, my forever favorite side character is the glasses guy as I am one myself they are cool. These three are the reason I am giving it a 3/10 watched it is just for them.

Last thing, they never touched on that he thought she was cheating on him and moved on and never gave a proper ending on it too, the major plot point was somehow forgotten like what is, they should be on his side even if he has no self confidence and thinks low of himself. But they all attack him like that. Unpredictable but too predictable, null. (Leave the last part out I may be wrong on that and too dumb to see it through).

In the end 100% not recommended, you are wasting your time on fan service and nothing more than 3 good friends who come here and there to start the plot back up.
