Something I appriciated about this manga is that is is not like every other shoujo romance manga out there. The girl was not a tom boy and did not have an attitude or a firey temper. The boy was not a pervert and doesn't have a dark side to him. I appriciated finding a story in which I could relate to the female lead as well as respect the male lead. The characters are really what make this manga worth reading. Though the plot is somewhat predicable it is still enjoyable. Reading Boku kara Kimi ga Kienai you might not find yourself at the edgeof your seat dying to know what happens next, but you will find yourself enjoying the more gentle-paced story of a girl in love with her sensei and the drama that ensues with the series of misunderstanding and unfortunate events.
