This is Naoshi Arakawa's (Your Lie in April author) next masterpiece. Four chapters in and it already had me tearing up. Most projects these days whether it's mangas, animes or traditional TV shows usually do not entice me enough to keep watching. This series started out with a great hook and made me just keep reading. Ever had that book where you just couldn't wait what happens next and you end up reading for hours? This manga is exactly that. The supporting characters are hilarious and full of life, the protagonist's conflict within is well defined and his struggle to find his passion again hit reallyclose to home. I love the dynamic between the female protagonist and the main protagonist, if you're a Your Lie In April fan then you'll see their bond will feel very familiar to that of all the romance genre all-time greats.

They just simply bring the best out of each other in a time where they need it most, whether they know it or not. That comes with encouraging, happy, hilarious, and sad moments. It is a surprisingly hilarious story with tons of moments that'll make you laugh, but it's also very well rounded at everything else. That is enough to be a compelling story for me.
