Spoiler warning
This review may discuss plot details.
FOR A SPOILER LESS REVIEW READ THE SUMMARY AT THE END. "My Wife... it's an Angel." "This morning, I woke up to everything destroyed. It was more than a disaster; it was an apocalypse." You barely will ever think that these two dialogues were said by the same person and definitely could not have guessed that they were said in the same chapter too. Such contrasting lines that it can be mistaken for different genres. Then welcome to the review of a manga which no other person has left a review for, "Shuumatsu no Hanayome-sama: Sweet Home†Melty Life". The fact that no one else wrote a review is maybethe only reason I am writing one. I maybe am not the best at giving reviews and even worse at rating things, but at least I could provide some insight on the basic outline of things.
Me, wandering in this vast sea of entertainment, just randomly searching for that one molecule of enjoyment, was enthralled by that beautiful cover art of the manga which may have drawn in you too, that's why you are reading this review. Without any intentions of getting spoiled, ignoring all the review comments, I blindly dived right into it. But little did I know that I would regret the choice.
Onto the synopsis, We see an older Onii-san, in love with our MC, trying to propose him at the start of the story. But confused by the absurd request and flow of things the MC runs off rejecting the proposal and apologizing. Waiting in home was his mother, giving him some "Domestic Violence" therapy. And waiting outside were the bullies, who beated the cr*p out of him while he constantly prayed for angels to come and save him. At that moment our older Onii-san comes to help him with patching up his injuries. And then she comes up with a brilliant idea.... to "change the world into something wonderful" with byproduct being destroying it....
We have a shota MC with a broken view of world, devoid of the feeling of love. Then we have a shotacon and a yandere FMC going to the extremes for her love. We have a newly introduced character of a righteous teacher who somehow survived the calamity and now is trying to search for her students.
Now onto some other stuff. Art constantly dwindles between average to decent. Some panels are drawn well and look good too, while in some instances it feels like it is improperly erased by an eraser. For character designs while the design of MC was pretty meh but FMC looked good with all that angelic stuff. Well for the pacing, I think there is not enough material yet to decide for it.
Summary: The FMC is in love with the MC and she destroys the world and turns it into a world that "could not sadden him" while they continue living their married life.
If you are weak or can't handle Shotacon and Yandere characters then you should stay a bit far away from this. Nevertheless it is bound to be cancelled if it comes to the view of twitterians due to their "Cancel Culture".
With this I scraped all I could from that minimal 3 chapters. As this has so less amount of chapters and the story was okay too I am giving it a 6 (can change in the near future). Hope this helps!
