Monster Eater · review
This anime is if Kirby swallowed a mid-tier power fantasy isekai. The early plot is extremely predictable: the MC has a weak skill that everyone in the party think is bad, but "surprisingly" it counters one of the pre-established rule of the world. It is easily digestible with its 12 min run time, but it also does not challenge the viewer at all. If the anime shows the drawback to the power, rather than being just another overpowered main character, it might become an enjoyable watch. Nevertheless, its visuals is actually not bad. The animation may be lacking but it is not trying to be Jujutsu Kaisen, itis its own thing.
Compared to some other lower-budget animes, the character designs are not ugly or have a weird filter on them.
Additionally the "lack" of animations make the viewing experience more enjoyable compared to bad animation from overworked animators, which makes the experience worse.
Overall, it is the defintion of mid right now
