Review of The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far

An anime as boring and mundane as smartphone isekai. Plot MC sent to isekai by knife-kun. MC meets gods during baptism and they make him OP. The eventual tropes like family is shocked, MC gets praised, MC defeats S-class monsters, MC saves girls, gets engaged, becomes a noble at a young age, villain's seal is weakening and so on. As you can see, the plot ticks all the boxes of "generic isekai" checklist. Now, there are two questions. 1. what does the anime offer apart from the generic trash? Nothing. 2. How good is the execution of generic story? pretty boring. MC whines like abitch every episode about his success. just like the MC in "the world of otome games is tough for mobs". We barely have any fan service. and when we do get some ecchi moments, it is with 10 year old girls (plural) sandwiching our MC -_-. The slapstick comedy.. is just meh. Most of the plot is MC doing OP thing -> characters shocked -> praise MC -> repeat.

It does have some positive attributes imo. There is no drama. You can happily turn off your brain and relax while watching this anime. The plot moves at the speed of light without ever dragging anything. A little too fast sometimes, but i consider it a favor to audience by fast-forwarding a lot of generic plot.

Overall, i would say that watching this show is a good thing. Because it reminds you that life is precious and yet you are wasting such precious life watching this garbage. It may even break your anime addiction. But it is also a series that you can watch in background while cleaning the house or whatever. The predictability and mediocrity gives you a certain comfort, as you can easily fill in the blanks for any portion of story you missed.
