Review of Love Flops

The first half is like Spider-man 3, it has absolutely ridiculous scenes while then trying to pull off serious scenes that make you feel for the characters, which in my opinion is what makes it great. To go with this it has lots of actual funny lines that made me actually laugh out loud due to the absurdity of them. It plays all the characters girls very tongue and cheek as they are all the average harem girl stereotype but it's self aware in the fact and uses it to the stories advantages making character arcs around the flaws of the stereotypes. The twist to setup the second half of the show was actually quite good considering how unexpected it was while not feeling completely random especially with how eery the set up episode was.

The second Half itself was done really well and made me feel for all of the characters which surprised me and the way all of the characters stories tie off was really nice and the general vibe of the second half while different from the first was still very engaging and made me want to see what would happen next.

However, the story of the first half isn't anything special when compared to any other harem as it has the stupid set up to have them all under one roof and all the weird sexual moments that come out of nowhere, and even though I liked the twist into the second half the actual second half itself did lose my interest a bit until it picked back up again.

Overall I felt it was a decent show but if you don't want to deal with some very absurd scenes with very out there dialog i wouldn't suggest it as that is the first half of the show and as much as I enjoyed it, if you won't the second half isn't worth suffering through the first as it's not anything wildly different or special from other shows of a similar nature, but if you're up for stupid and funny scenes without worrying about the ridiculousness of it then I heavily recommend for a good laugh and a good twist.
