Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End
It's not necessarily perfection, but it's nice, laid back, and well-done. It's been a hot minute since I've come across a well-done anime. Especially with the all the resent trash isekai and cliche shounen catering to thoughtless American boys standards. The animation was good, nice use of CGI compared to many others, great pacing, and no unnecessary fanservice. It's a great slice of life anime with a laid back plot that address both the importance of, and quick passage of time, as well as the beauty in taking it easy and enjoying the little things in life. The atmosphere is somewhat similar to mahoutsukai noyome and fumetsu no anata e while also being much more laid back. I think it's a balance between those and natsume yuujinchou. So if you like any of the above, you would like this one.
