Review of Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow

What even is the story, honestly? It’s just some bland guy with a random dry personality switch who gets stronger every episode. The original cry baby was more interesting, now he’s an aura farming, bland and boring character who we know comes out on top every single time. None of the other characters have any depth or personality at all. I literally can’t remember anyone’s name besides Jinwoo. There’s zero emotion or attachment to anyone, and no one’s actually likable. If half the cast died, I wouldn’t blink an eye. There’s literally no time put into the story it’s just worried about ways to makejinwoo look cooler. I don’t think anyone cares for the side characters.

The HXH any rip-off storyline also was just so blatant as well. I get it the animation is nice I guess and it is somewhat entertaining to watch AT FIRST… but as the season progressed I sort of just started getting bored. It’s… okay, it’s just like… really lowbrow.
