Frieren is the pinnacle of craftsmanship, soundtracks, storytelling, character development, and animation. With the level of brilliance and insight this anime has to offer, it's quite an achievement to match! However, viewers may initially be put off by its slow start, but the first seven episodes are essential to establishing the plot and character development. The drama/fantasy series sets a melancholic tone in its first episode by contrasting Frieren's youthful appearance with her aged perspective and later explores the weight of war and the passage of time through her emotional journey. Character development is a slow burn, but the payoff is incredible. The initial episodes establish theplot and relationships, and while the pacing might feel slow at first, it allows for a richer emotional experience later on. Don't be discouraged if you prefer faster-paced shows; Frieren rewards patient viewers with a powerful and moving story. If you can get past the first seven episodes and invest time in completing this series, your investment will in time pay off. Every episode is remarkable in its subtle details, character interactions, and relationships, particularly the fight scenes. Through this series, you will feel assured that you have seen the best that Japan has to offer.

It doesn't matter how much anime you have seen or what your level of interest is in anime in general. Your expectations will be far exceeded. Do not expect any form of fan service or mature references while watching this. If you do, then this series is clearly not for you.

Heads up! There are 2 peaks; episodes include 8–10 and the ending of Ep. 24-26.
