The first two seasons of Kaguya-sama were GREAT. Kaguya Sama S3: Ultra Romantic is the GREATEST. If you love romantic comedies, you can't go wrong here! You can see how much work and love the A1 Pictures team puts in for each episode. The art and storytelling execution are top-notch and the music is phenomenal, with Masayuki Suzuki shooting out another banger. The comedic timing is somehow even better than in the previous two seasons, and voice casting continues to kill it. Major props to A1 pictures for including Aka Akasaka throughout the creation process and for helping create a masterpiece. Despite enjoying otheranimes in similar type genres (Toradora, Clannad, Love Story, Rascal Does Not Dream), those series never reach the levels of peak comedy and romance that Kaguya does. There's a sense of realism that's captured in the ways each character interacts, and the slice of life comedy never feels forced. The relationship between each character is nuanced and grows throughout the series, and you'll feel like you are growing up with the student council. I find it hard not to smile through every viewing– it's similar to experiencing nirvana.

These past 12 weeks have given me so much happiness, and I'll be sure to do everything I can to promote Kaguya. Watch Kaguya all the way through, and I promise you won't regret it.

P.S. For those that love the manga and are salty that some chapters were not adopted, I feel your pain. But let's remember that Kaguya-sama is the gold standard for a romantic comedy for both manga and anime!
