Review of Wind Breaker Season 2
If you only want to watch a bunch of kids punching each other, this isn't the anime for you. But if you're into series with character growth, healing from trauma, and a splash of action, you'll love this one. I've said it many times before and I'll keep saying it as much as I need to: this is not your average action-focused shounen fist fight anime, and that especially shines starting in the 2nd season. The main overarching focus of this series is and has always been Sakura's growth and healing from an emotionally stunted and traumatized kid. Everything that happens, whether or not Sakurais the one at hand learning the lesson, is a way for him to understand more about others and about himself. Nii does a great job of showing the slow creep of Sakura's emotions (though in world the first two seasons are actually only about a week or so!) and Cloverworks adapted the characters beautifully and did justice to the source material. No filler and good pace.
