Review of Ya Boy Kongming!

Surprisingly loveable modern say singer noob to star story mixed with a splash of three kingdoms Chinese strategy. I didn't expect to like this anime so much going into it. The premise is a bit funky with the modern day isekai aspect but Kon makes the story interesting. Pros: Music sung by the MC was fun even though there is no improvements to the actual sound that progresses as it does through the story The singing sequences were strangely expressive and had a lot of motion. I was surprised they put that much effort into the sequences even though some of the motions don't line up. The con to thisstory was the use of the Rapper character that seemed thrown into the story. Kon said the rapper was crucial to success but the rapper doesn't add much to the story or the songs.
A small nitpick is Kon's ability to adapt so quickly and be okay with females in power even though the time period he was from didn't agree but the glossing over of this detail shifted the focus of the story to other things.
