Review of Redo of Healer

So I don't watch animes like this very often. I consider myself a harem and ecchi enthusiast, but not hentai. And yes before you go any further, this show has HENTAI. Lots of it. Like, almost every episode. But that's not the only thing I meant- the tone of the show is quite dark. Or edgy, whatever you want to call it. I have enjoyed animes in which the protagonists walks the thin line of good and evil, but most of the time I feel they don't do it well because it's very forced. But this anime I felt hit it out of the park.Okay so let's just get talking. I'll make this short as possible.

1. The characters were amazing. The MC Keyaru- is fucking phenomenal. After watching pansy ass twinkies like Subaru from Re:Zero and Shield Hero, it's good to see an MC that actually has real conviction and go through with his ideals. It's honestly refreshing. You're rooting for the guy because he's been through hell, but at the same time he's one twisted fuck because of all the tragedies in his past, so you kind of disagree with how he handles it...but at the same time it's righteous in a way. The faces he makes are disturbing lol and his laughter is not one of a hero for sure. His harem squad is legit. Pretty girls with solid personalities. All horny af. That's the good stuff. The bad guys are straight up sadistic and evil, so you don't feel remorse for them even when they get their just (or injust) desert.

2. The storyline- wtf it's actually good. Not gonna lie, I often drop animes about half way through because the storyline becomes garbage but this one was actually really good. Towards the end, it becomes even more amazing. I don't want to spoil it, but I'll just say it's fast pace to keep things interesting, but slow enough to let things developed. Really hope there's a season 2 so I see how it ends (I don't read mangas).

3. Alright let's just talk about it- how's the hentai? It's good. You'll enjoy it. There's......various form of "sex" the show produces, so yeah. That's nice for you folks I guess. Again, I'm not a big hentai fan, but I mean over all if you just want to watch it for the hentai, it's good.

4. LAST POINT- and I need to stress this- THIS SHOW IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. There are some really dark undertone such as rape, slavery, discrimination, and torture...to name a few. I don't watch these kinds of show often, so it was difficult for me to get acclimated to the tone. Even half way through I still was disturbed by rape scenes. But I mean...it does serve a purpose I supposed. This is the last warning I'll give. If you can't stand those types of scenes, DO NOT WATCH THIS ANIME.

Over all, I say give it a chance. It's interesting and different from what I normally watch,so maybe that's why I enjoyed it. I've read a lot of reviews and yeah most seem to hate it, but it's not exactly what you think it is. This anime actually has merits to be good. To me anyways. Alright so that's it. Have at it!
