Review of Deca-Dence

This is a short yet very well paced anime (leaning towards the fast pace side) and is very enjoyable to watch. It never gets stale and it has a nice flow, a cheerful, adventurous and optimistic feel to it. As others have stated, its premise is very unique and a fresh touch to this season's anime. That being said, as the story progresses there are key points where things start to fall into place and become predictable and in line with other anime of its category. Also, another negative thing is that it kind of wraps things up a bit too fast and feels abit unsatisfactory. But even then due to its nice flow and optimistic vibes I personally didn't mind that much. The overall aftertaste this anime gives off is a sweet one.

I would also like to note that the animation is good, especially at the action packed scenes (impact frames). It was visually pleasing with very little CG. Basically the only thing that was noticeable CG was the Deca-Dence base.

If I were to compare it to other anime I would say it's a loose combination of Gurren Lagann and SSSS.Gridman.
