If you are reading this chances are you have already played the falcom games. That being said, there are a lot of games, including games I've never played, so unless you've played ALL the games you're going to miss some references. Also this is basically just a comedy anime, not to be taken overly seriously, but its understandable that some/most jokes are subjective. It's really like a more jokey and shorter version of carnival phantasm so to speak. Really its just an experience to watch and hear the characters in funneh situations, though some are not so funneh. (Disclaimer: I watched this a few years ago so Imight not remember everything very clearly, but the general gist of the idea is the same.)
