Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

Rise of the Shield Hero was my main show out of all the anime of Winter 2019. Story: The story is a pretty common one. An otaku is summoned to another world that he has to help. He is given the role of the Shield Hero which is like the black sheep of all the other heroes. Considered the weakest he is looked down upon. And if thats not enough, he is framed of a crime he didn't commit to make his reputation even worse. He struggles in the world but is able to meet some people and riseto be the best hero of the four.

Art: The art is good, nothing amazing. I liked how the fight scenes looked as well as the character designs. There are some attempts at CGI that ultimately could have been better.

Sound: Everything sounded good. Nothing that really stood out though.

Character: Now with this anime, some characters will piss you off so much. I had to remind myself that i was watching an anime and it wasn't real several times throughout the series. There are also some really awesome characters too though with obvious standouts being Raphtilia and Filo. As for the main character Naofumi, he is a good main. He is not boring whatsoever and really fun to watch. If i could sum him up in one word, it would be badass.

Enjoyment, Overall: It is definitely a good series that I enjoyed all the way through. It really brings out your emotions as you're watching. From sad, to angry, to funny, to happy, I was able to experience all these emotions with this series. I will miss it but am hopeful for a season 2
