Review of My Girlfriend is Shobitch

I knew what type of show this was going in, but I was honestly expecting more, even despite the middling reviews. I know shobitch is essentially based around dirty jokes, but dirty jokes with 0 wit to them are just predictable and shallow. I know we are talking about a rather pedestrian sense of humor, but that kind of humor can still be quite funny. The problem with shobitch is the attempted humor is all poorly executed sexual jokes and no other jokes of substance hit, or get anywhere close. However, humor, as with all media, is subjective. I believe bakato test and Ore no Nounai Sentakushi ga, Gakuen Love Comedy wo Zenryoku de Jama Shiteiru are two examples that include more timely and humorous dirty jokes, yet execute the rest of the shows humor much better as well.

Shobitch is a mediocre show that can be afforded one watch, but I'll never watch it again.
