I have no idea why I enjoy this show so much. I watched the first season and thought it hilarious, and here I am again, back for the ride. Why is it so appealing, I will never be able to figure it out. There's just something ineffably charming about it that steals my heart. First of all, unlike most short anime, there is an actual storyline. That in and of itself makes it so much better than other short series that just serve as quick gags that barely span a minute or two. In addition, there is actual characterization and vague relationships portrayed between thecharacters, which I really appreciate.

There is art quality, surprising as it may be. It is simple and nothing amazing, but it is colorful, distinctive, and adds to the comedy, which is pretty refreshing.

The sound is nothing too special, but the ending themes are generic and fun to say the least.

Lastly, the characters are what I enjoy most. Ros is obviously my favorite (I have a think for sassy dark haired sadistic jerks, lol) but it was hard to dislike any character because they're all so fun and entertaining.

I loved this so much! I'm eagerly waiting for that third season :D

I would recommend this if you: like gag anime, like short shows, like 'plot twists', like 'mc abuse', like randomness, liked the first season

I would NOT recommend this if you: wanted a serious plot or are extremely sensitive to pedophile jokes

If you want a more serious version of this, I would recommend Akatsuki No Yona, which takes place in a similar time period about a princess journeying to collect warriors to take back her kingdom. It's one of my favorites and it has a similar feel to Senyuu.

Have a great day everyone!
