Review of Devilman: Crybaby

Let's keep this short : Devilman Crybaby is a spin off of the most cliche 'demon plot' ever; guy meets demon, demon possesses guy, guy retains his humanity and gets all the perks of a superhuman body. Sound familiar? But don't worry, this one has plenty of gratuitous gore and borderline porn to keep you just uncomfortable enough to keep watching. That being said, THIS IS RATED R. Wish I'd known that sooner... What the anime has going for it is it's artistic animation and shameless shock factor. Be forewarned; this is not a feel-good anime, but it is a breath of fresh air after allthe other animes with Hollywood-endings.

Personally, I give it a 9/10.
