For the runtime of just under a half hour I think it's worth a watch for the art alone. It's really pretty and aesthetic, everything that people love about the 90's style. There's lots of interesting camera angles, and the beginning and ending narration also has fun kabuki fair. Beyond visuals the episode is an advert for the manga and has little to no story merit on its own and isn't well written. There isn't enough context to what happens, especially because the into gives a false impression, I can only assume it's showing us what will be (later in the manga) because it frames3 characters as the story's Lupin/Goemon/Thief Gang but presents us in story with contestant, doctor, and thief.

Anyway, worth it for the art. Not the story.
