Review of Amnesia

So I watched this a long time ago but stops by the 3rd episode. A few weeks ago, I stumbled across it again and decided that I should watch it again. I did managed to finish it this time but one question remains with me - 'What the hell happened?'. Now don't get me wrong, the characters and art were pretty good in my opinion, but it's the story line that confused me. A story about a girl who fainted during work and when she woke up she forgotten who she is and everyone around her. Her two childhood friends, Toma and Shin send her home(after a awkward scene - in my pov). When she got home, a spirit named Orion told her that she lost her memories because of him and promised that he would help her regain them again. This part I understand but after this, everything was all over the place.

Is it just me but doesn't the anime feel incomplete and that the ending isn't right? I couldn't understand anything and the way that the date and boyfriend restarted didn't either.

It also confused me that the MC is called 'Heroine'. I know that she forgotten everything about herself but did no one called her name out or something that would cause her to remember her name? I mean she has literally a whole group of friends and 4 boys who are after her; how does she still not know her name? Someone was bound to mention her name at least once, right?

Either way, I want them to try again. The idea of a girl who lost her memories and is trying to regain them isn't a bad one. But only if you don't present it well enough and force to much onto it that it just confuses people. So I want them to try and redo the whole anime and improve more, this time with a better understanding story line. And to also give the MC a better name than 'Heroine'.

The studio, 'Brain's Base' has made some of very good anime including - Durarara!, Kiss Him Not Me, My Little Monster, School Babysitters, Dance With Devils and ... Amnesia. I really enjoy this studios work and I was kinda disappointed when I watched Amnesia cause I know that they can do better.

Still, I'm not saying that you shouldn't watch it or that it's very horrible because I seen worse. But I'm not also saying that it's very amazing either. You should anime that are consider both 'well made' and 'horribly made' so you can get an idea of why it's well made or why it's horribly made. Based on your taste on anime you may or may not like this but it's still worth watching so you can broaden your taste and knowledge about anime.

Sorry if I wasted your time, but it's just my opinion. Whether or not you follow my advice or not, I don't care.
