Review of Gushing over Magical Girls

There are many battles in this show, and while they are barely passable in a combat/animation-sense they are fun as a vehicle for the show's ecchi. And the ecchi here is ridiculous! For the first half of the show I was amazed how each episode got crazier than the last! The second half of the show plateaus and then falls, it starts to feel less ambitious and almost boring. This show's characters and story are ok, and while there are some cute character designs and personality quirks those also start to fade the longer you sit with this show. It's rare I would say this, buta shorter season could have solved almost all of these problems.

Check out this show for some highlights of the ecchi genre! They are strong. But stick around and you'll see some boring cliche lowlights aswell. This show has just enough spark/potential with its idea that I can't stay mad at it, but overall it is very average quality.
