Review of Vinland Saga Season 2

The animation continues to be of the same quality as season 1,ie good across the board. While action scenes are still of good quality, there are a few less of them than season 1. The background continue to be very good and the character detail is as well. This season focused a lot more on characters and less on the action. The character depth is very good, and it's a lot easier to know who to root for than in season 1(not that that't necessarily a good or bad thing). The pacing is slower than season 1, but still quite good and fairly engrossing. Voiceacting remains of the quality as season 1, a few very good performances and and good casting. The soundtrack remains very good, good intros, good outros. Overall the production value is still quite high. Couple that with good characters, and a compelling plot, and you've got yourself a solid anime. I hope we see a season 3 soon. 7.80/10
