Review of Wonder Egg Priority: My Priority
I can't help but imagine me, sitting there, waiting for a conclusion, for SOMETHING to elicit some form of cohesion, getting excited fora one hour long special, a finale, a sendoff for these characters and their struggles and then nothing just a whole lot of nothing. There is nothing to discuss or write about it, because there just isn't anything here. The worst part, the ultimate punch in the guts to what could have been a great experience, the fucking capstone to this show, is the last frame before the credits. Just, saccharine, cynical awfulness, it's the show looking you dead in the eyes and saying "Teehee, gotcha, right? this was good right? We definitely hit all the beats to get like... so many people invested, right? Doesn't matter that this conclusion is 50% recap, 50% technobabble nonsense, right? You truly never believed that this was a show about people and their emotions right?"
This ending hates you for having empathy.
