The first, like... 3/4s of this anime kinda suck. The protagonist is incredibly boring, and much of the plot is trying to convince him to be less of an asshole to his childhood friend. However, the remainder of the anime is pretty nice, and probably at least an 8 or 9 out of 10 on its own. So, when the plot actually kicks in, it's pretty good. But I can't really give it any higher of a score due to most of it being... blech. As a whole, I think it would probably be worth the watch? The opening is pretty good.
