Review of Wonder Egg Priority: My Priority

In my review of Wonder Egg Priority, I expressed my doubts about the show's direction after episode 8: a radical shift, with a bunch of new and interesting concepts that never got explained, because the show was about to end. I hoped this special could answer the questions I, and the fandom, had. And boy, oh boy, this special did not do that. Let's start with the positives: we found out how Koito died. Now the negatives: We were promised a one hour special. However, the episode was 46 minutes long, of which 25 MINUTES AND 30 SECONDS were a recap. That's an absolutedisgrace;
The questions we had about what happened to Frill, what were Hyphen and Dot, how was Ai going to fight as a Warrior of Eros, what even is a Warrior of Eros, how did Rika and Momoe came to terms with what happened inside the egg world, the parallel worlds, all of these questions are all left unanswered, and some of them aren't even brought up the entire episode;
The remaining 20 minutes were very subpar, even by WEP standards: a nonsensical story, that introduces more ideas that are, obviously, never explained, ending in an absurd ending, that makes no sense since, in theory, this special should be the end of the story. However, we are left with an open ending that, once again, leaves us with more questions than answers;
And last but not least, the animation was so poor, I couldn't help but feel distracted by it: the amount of zooming in and people running in place were way too much.

As much as it pains me to say, WEP was an absolute flop. I do not recommend you to watch this special at all.
