Review of Fena: Pirate Princess
Kaizoku Oujo turned out to be more enjoyable than I expected. Even though the plot holes are everywhere and the character development is really thin, it’s still pretty solid for a short adventure anime. The sense of adventure is definitely there — the journey, the mystery, and the crew dynamics make it fun to follow. At first, I was skeptical and worried the ending would be a cliffhanger that forces you to wait for a season 2 that might never come. But the ending was actually neat and acceptable, even if some parts felt a bit rushed. The characters aren’t explored much, but since the pacing isfast and the story focuses more on the treasure-hunt plot, it’s pretty understandable. Overall, it’s not a perfect anime, but as a short, light, adventure-themed show with good visuals, Kaizoku Oujo does the job well enough.
