There is a time and place for everything. just when it was getting good we get hit with the most hated shit about anime in general. An episode that is just reused content. A recap does not have to be bad, look at Tensura they make sure to add additional voice acting and comments by veldora and ifrit to keep it interesting. I have seen some anime add a few character monologues that show a bit of intent that may have been missed otherwise and there are many more methods. I understand studios use this extra episode to make up for a production deadline they may have missedbut cmon it cant be that hard to add a bit of extra dialogue, I am not even asking for extra scenes just a bit more dialogue that might even make it worth watching FFS.

sahite no paladin has a very shit MC, till now most of the show was and Is being carried by the memory and love for the Undead. and just when a little bit of likeability was forming for the MC we get slapped with a recap.

Skip this, it is totally unnecessary, however in the off chance that you have not watched the original anime please do it is totally worth it.
