Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

Arguably, the best and unique fantasy anime that has came out in a while. It's very telling that people initially assume that every new fantasy anime is an isekai including Frieren. With the oversaturation of Fantasy troupes in Isekai, you can't even blame people for coming to that conclusion. However, Frieren proves that Fantasy Anime do not need to use Isekai as a crutch. Frieren excels in every department, animation, soundtrack, and most importantly it's narrative storytelling. I cannot do justice in describing how great the storytelling is in Frieren. The first 10 minutes sets up all that narrative exposition you need to know exactlywhat this anime is about. Simply put, I think Frieren is a breath of fresh air in an oversaturated sea of Fantasy Isekai and hope for even more anime/media like Frieren in the future.

10/10 Masterpiece is my score because I cannot physically rate this show any higher.
