This was a pointlessly fun anime that pressed all the right buttons for me. It had the right amount of drama to keep things interesting (a little), and the right amount of comedy to make things riotous (a lot). It's just choc full of jokes for cat lovers, that land more reliably the more of a cat person you are. The attention to detail about never hurting the cats is wonderful. And some of the lines are absolutely ridiculous, over-the-top, and delivered so well by the VA's that they just broke me into howling laughter. I recommend this anime foranyone who likes cats a lot, who likes zombie movies, or who just wants a low-stakes laugh riot.
