Review of Love Flops

I sort of decided on this anime on a whim. I generally prefer slice of life comedies, so this seemed about right. The first half of the series is rather bland, but I didn't hate it. It was seemingly intentionally goofy, and I don't mind that sort of thing. All of a sudden though, things shifted in a very different direction, and I'll be honest, I don't think it was for the better. At least not entirely. Yes, the last episode is pretty bittersweet, and I admit, it made me feel something, but the overall tonal shift I can't say I enjoyed very much. Still, Ican say that this show was alright. I'd give it a mild recommendation, particularly for some of the voice acting (I watched the English dub for reference). A completely fine anime to kill some time with, but I won't remember it tomorrow.
