What if the super-powers / cultivation methods in most cultivation animes didn't exist? Or where have they come from? How was the world when these were first arrived/explored back then? This serie has a different approach to these "cultivation/soul" series. This serie represents struggle to win over those powers both in diplomatic and martial way. But the "diplomatic" way is bit shallow and isn't really detailed. Still, most of the characters are intelligent and they are trying to make their way into it. So we get to see characters' own paths and their efforts into them to make it real. They got strong and weaksides which we get to see as well. And apart from most of the series, they can think. Yes, they can think logistical. I know it's hard to believe but they can really think. That's already enough for a character, I would say.

Also different establishments, powerhouses and cities made it a bit more interesting yet they were not really detailed as well. This serie has an interesting world to hold onto the story yet the relationships between characters and their different purposes make the highest point of the serie rather than the world itself.

So, would say giving it a try should worth it.
