Review of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc

I'm going to be a bit biased here because this was my favorite arc in the manga, but DAMN is this a fantastic adaptation! If you liked the first season even a little, then I would recommend watching this one as well, as it brings everything enjoyable about the first arc and cranks it up to 11. I don't think I have ever seen animation this good, ever. My jaw literally dropped during the fight scenes in the last couple of episodes. It's real good, guys. Real good. I've seen a lot of people criticize this series as being weak on characters and plot while beingcarried by its animation. Is there any truth to that? Yeah, I can definitely agree to some extent, as a lot of what's going on in Demon Slayer is pretty generic, standard shounen fare. However, I'm willing to excuse all of that because I don't feel like this show is pretending to be anything that it isn't. It's here mostly for action and comedy, with a little bit of emotional drama on the side, but not much more. And that's fine, because what *is* here is very well executed, in my opinion.

I think that Demon Slayer certainly has its flaws, but they were far outweighed by the positives, and overall I had a hell of a good time watching this season.
