Review of The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made

I'll be honest, I enjoyed this anime way more than "The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2" garbage. Look, most Isekai shows are bad. But you can tell when the director and writer is having fun with it and when it's just designed to be a show to rake in some sales without having any heart. At-least this anime knew it was trash and rolled with it, having fun till the end. Premise of an OP MC isn't anything new but most anime seem to find it hard to put a spin on it. Fruit of Evolution just kept rolling with one nonsense after another,almost like it was parodying other Isekai anime out there, probably why I never got tired of watching it.

Art is.. bad, but serviceable. Audio is.. generic, but gets the job done. Characters are fun, which is why I kept watching it despite other issues. It does have that cringey harem shit in it with a "child" character showing up at the end for that stupid "family" thing Japanese writers like to do with MC and his lead harem ho, but at-least they don't go overboard with harem TnA and keep it PG-13 by not sexualizing the underage character.

I think I was just sick and tired of watching overhyped bad anime and ended up enjoying this way too much in comparison. If you are like me and just like to enjoy a silly Isekai show every now and then (Arifureta), you'll enjoy this too.
