The story and the art style evoke a Studio Ghibli/My Neighbor Totoro type of feel, while dealing with deeper themes of accepting the past, accepting change, and mourning. It fits very well with the plot. There are parts where it gets sort of confusing in the way that you are unsure whether the events occurring are actually happening in the current time of the story or are a dream or are a memory of the past. There are a lot of characters, yet they are written well enough to be able to keep track of who is who. Overall, it is a heartwarming story thatI would recommend.
