Op: Yoake Itaru no Iro no Nai Hibi · review
It's a bit unfortunate that this isn't as popular as other works from Yoneda Kou. As it is, it's a solid story. Characters are charming, layered, and distinct--in fact, I'd say that the characters here are more visually unique than their BL works. If you're into Yoneda Kou because you love men in suits, then this series also got a lot of them. The overall plot and the central mystery is honestly a tad unimportant, but it more than makes up in the intercharacter dynamics. Though as an aside, I'll also say that they are PERSISTENT in shoving it to the readers' face that THIS ISNOT BL YOU ALL. Like there's at least 4 instances throughout the released chapters.
But still. Very interesting story.
