So this story came out many years ago and somehow it' still alive at almost 200 chapters. Yes there is an Anime adaption but it was terrible, having an artstyle focusing on women's bodies and not on the story. Hajimete Gal the manga is decent, quite slow in terms of pacing but the development is there. The MC unlike his Anime show pathetic counterpart, actually walks the talk and learns properly. Even if he is just a regular vulnerable dude, his efforts are gradually showing till he finally 'graduates" at chapter 199. While it is true there are a lot of Ecchi and fan service, yougradually become immune to it.

At least in the manga, the body proportions are fairly reasonable unlike the show
