This is so weird. I don't understand where this is going. The whole "you're my daughter" thing is cringy and it all feels like a daddy fetish gone horribly wrong. It's so full of cliches. The characters are boring and have no personality. The most interesting character is the grandfather and he's fucking nuts. Who just makes their grandson adopt a teenage girl??? Of course, we have the poor mc with dead parents and shitty caretakers or the workaholic father/romantic interest (the fact that he's both is nuts) who is at first awful but has a heart of gold... If she was much younger and thiswas a story of a genuine father-daughter relationship it would have been much more interesting and I would gladly read it, but this is obviously going in the romantic direction.
